Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November, 1985, at Los Angeles. The father of her Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley while the mother of her child Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix had an early flair for sports when she was studying at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix discovered her athletic ability at the moment. In just 10 weeks following her initial tryout, she placed third in the 200 meter event in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was a high school graduate when she graduated from school in 2003 signed an athletic contract with Adidas. She later attended an institution called the University of Southern California and was a teacher in the elementary school. Felix won her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. She set the Junior World Record taking 200m in 22.18 seconds. In 2005, at the Helsinki World Championships, Felix was the youngest world champion for the 200 meter race. She was able to defend the title once again in 2007, winning over her Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently at the top of the podium across her diverse events during the Olympics held during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
