Julie Anne Smith, A.K.A. Julianne Moor is an Hollywood actor and writer that has won critical acclaim for her talent. Sagittarius. Her birthplace was in North Carolina, on 3rd December, 1960. She's the eldest of three siblings who were born in the home of Peter Moore Smith, a paratrooper, and Anne a psychologist. She's English as well as Scottish. Her father was a professional who moved her family a lot. She had a difficult time making and keeping friends. Moore began acting in plays as she travelled with her family to Germany. She continued her education at Boston University where she graduated in 1983, with a B.F.A. thesis in Theater. It was in 1986 that she made her breakthrough when she portrayed the role of Sabrina Hughes as well as Frannie Hughes on As the World turns. In 1988, she was a part-time actress on the show, and won the Daytime Emmy Award. In 1990, she made her debut as an actor in Tales from the Darkside: The Movie.
